Im looking for a good spot close to town to catch some catfish in the summer. I love creole cooking and a blackend cat is better than a pike for me any day. Ive seen a bunch at wizard when ice fishing but ive had no luck in the summer at all.
What kind of technique do you use for them in the heat? Ive been using a bait hook and sausage off the bottom as it works well in the winter but so far nothing in the heat.

we catch them in the irragation canal in summer same as pike fishin bait lower they like moving water in summer
